We are thrilled to announce our latest documentary Inocente won Best Documentary Short at the 2012 San Antonio Film Festival! The festival takes places every June in San Antonio, TX with the mission to serve as an accessible and inclusive platform for cinematic artists and provide cinematic culture to a diverse audience. The San Antonio Film Festival showcases films from around the world. Last year, Shine Global’s documentary The Harvest: La Cosecha won the Audience Award for Best Documentary and the Outstanding Filmmaker Award. We were thrilled to be able to participate again in such a wonderful festival.
Inocente, directed by Sean Fine and Andrea Nix Fine, tells the inspiring story of a 15-year-old homeless and undocumented girl in San Diego, CA who refuses to give up her dream of being an artist.
